The North Posey Vikings
finally got to play another football team
Friday night, but things didn’t seem to go
that well, as the visiting North Knox
Warriors scored three touchdowns in an
eight-play sequence of the two teams’
scrimmage. |

|
|
|
|
A number of players are
back from a defending Class 3A Sectional
champion, including one of the area’s most
potent quarterback-to-receiver combinations.
With that said, the Mount Vernon football
team should have some experience back this
season and they should be pretty good. |

|
|
The North Posey girls’
soccer team will be very experienced this
year. That’s the good news, according to
coach Pleasant Dike. The bad news is that
the Lady Vikings have some key spots to fill
up the middle. |

The North Posey boys’
soccer team has quite a set of bookends this
season. There are nine seniors on the
Vikings this season and nine freshmen, not
leaving much in the middle years, but making
coach Bob Dale hopeful. |
