Shelly A. (Stone) Peach, 57, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at her residence. She was born on May 14, 1957, in Vanderburgh County daughter of Fredrick O. Stone and Mona D. (Poole) Ingler.
Shelly graduated from Gibson Southern High School in the class of 1975, furthered her education at Wabash Valley College in Mount Carmel, Ill., to become a License Practical Nurse. During Shelly’s working career she worked for UPS, several area nursing homes, St. Mary’s, Home Health and Need a Nurse. She worked a lot with dialysis. She was a past Cub Scout master and superintendant of the chickens at the Gibson County Fair.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Doug; sons, Dylan and Ian; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Jane Raben.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at St’s Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at 11 a.m. with co-celebrants, Father Tony Ernst and Father Sudhakar Bhastati officiating. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery at Owensville.
Visitation was held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 26, 2014, at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville and again from 10 a.m. until the service time at the church.
