Johnnie Louis Beeson, 75, of Lynnville, Indiana, born to Roy Louis and Allie Fay (Smith) Beeson on July 7, 1939 in Paris, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and sports. He was a retired heating and air conditioning sheet metal worker; served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1956 to 1960 and was a member of the Elberfeld American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Wilma (Lewis) Beeson; four sons: John Beeson from Owasso, Oklahoma, Greg and Jay Quackenbush from Lynnville, Indiana and Kevin Quackenbush from Winslow, Indiana; two daughters: Patience Howard from Auburn, Washington and Robin Gates From Bedford, Indiana; twin sister: Jan Hudson from Wagoner, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Alan Byers and a brother: Ray Beeson.
Friends could call 1-5 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Werry Funeral Home in New Harmony, Indiana.
There will be no funeral services with burial at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery in New Harmony, Indiana.
