Jeanette Anne Titzer, 79, formerly of Cynthiana, Indiana, born to Martin Pleasant and Elsie Kathryn (Scherer) Reynolds on November 8, 1934, in Stewartsville, Indiana, passed away Monday, May 19, 2014, at New Harmonie Healthcare in New Harmony, Indiana.
She graduated from F. J. Reitz High School in 1952 and a Lockyear Business College graduate. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Poseyville, Indiana, St. Mary’s Choir and Happy Hoosier Band. She also taught exercise classes at 21st Century Health Spa in Evansville, Indiana.
Surviving are her five sons: Jerome (Marilyn) Titzer of Cynthiana, Indiana, Roger (Ruth) Titzer of Cynthiana, Indiana, Tim (Susan) Titzer of Cynthiana, Indiana, Scott (Trish) Titzer of Newburgh, Indiana and Delbert ‘Bill’ (Cheryl) Titzer, Jr. of Evansville, Indiana; one daughter: Janet Hargrove of Cynthiana, Indiana; daughter-in-law: Gloria Titzer of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; 15 grandchildren: Becky Fowler, Jeff Titzer, Toni Codynah, Dan Titzer, Barb Kyriakou, Anthony Titzer, Tiffine Pfingston, Shirley Russell, Tracy Phillips, Trey Hargrove, Megan Hargrove, Korey Titzer, Kelsey Titzer, Missy Voegel and Brandi Powers; 22 great grandchildren; four brothers: Raymond (Diane) Reynolds of Evansville, Indiana, Irvin (Sue) Reynolds of Evansville, Indiana, John (Doris) Martin Reynolds of New Harmony, Indiana and Charlie (Jane) Reynolds of Stewartsville, Indiana; four sisters: Dorothy Miller of Wadesville, Indiana, Edna (Ray) Stratton of Poseyville, Indiana, Margie Ogelsby of Evansville, Indiana and Rovella (Ed) Ogg of Evansville, Indiana.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband: Delbert W. Titzer, Sr. in 1996; son: Randall L. Titzer in 2011; brother: Ivan Reynolds; sister: Iona Hanor-Reynolds; son-in-law: Thomas Hargrove, Jr.; granddaughter: Emily Hartig and a great granddaughter: McKinsey Titzer.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2014, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Poseyville, Indiana with burial in the church cemetery. Father Ed Schnur officiating.
Visitation was from 4 – 8 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2013 and from 8:30 a.m. until service time Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana.
