Don Lee Ebert, 84, of Poseyville, Indiana, born to Eli George and Katherine Elizabeth (Murphy) Ebert on October 6, 1929, in Poseyville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, at New Harmonie Healthcare Center in New Harmony, Indiana.
He graduated from Poseyville High School in 1947 and was a member of: St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Poseyville Masonic Lodge 632, Order of Eastern Star and the Scottish Rite.
Surviving are his one son, Timothy E. Ebert of Evansville, Indiana; two daughters, Debra L. Yeager of Boonville, Indiana and Pamela S. Kuester of Ft. Branch, Indiana; five grandchildren, Nicole R. (Lonny) Chapman, Elizabeth K. (Bryce) Alston, Joshua R. Yeager, Matthew J. (Beth) Yeager and Luke A. Yeager and four great-grandchildren, Eli and Cooper Chapman and Aidan and Ian Alston.
Preceding him in death were his parents and wife, Mary Ann (Bayer) Ebert in 2001.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial in Poseyville Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Hubachek officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the funeral home with a masonic service starting at 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 46 S. Cale Street, Poseyville, Indiana 47633.
