City Council looks to use, cost for City Hall Annex

Besides doing some routine beginning of the year matters, the Mount Vernon Common Council discussed projects for budget planning for the upcoming year at its January 9 meeting. A public hearing date will be set to explain how all the monies are being earmarked for this Additional Appropriation Ordinance of EDIT funds.
Mayor John Tucker encouraged the council to think about future uses for the City Hall Annex.
“In July, the police and fire department will move and we need to address what to do with this building.
